Hereford RFC comprises of 2 senior teams. Our 1st Team play in Regional 2 Midlands West League (RFU level 6) with the 2nd`s in the Counties 3 Midlands West (South) table leagues.
Normally matches are played on a Saturday afternoon with the odd midweek game. On a typical 1st team match we have over 200 home and away supporters + sponsor guests and other officials, even a 2nd team match is well supported with over 100 attending.
We have a large and successful Colts Team (Under 17 – 18) who have won the North Midlands Colts Cup and runners up in the last year. They normally play on a Sunday afternoon with the odd Saturday match. The Colts are also well supported with over 100 parents and supporters at each match. The senior teams are mostly ex colts players!
We also have one of the largest mini/junior sections in the Midlands with over 350 U7s to U16s players. Most games are played on a Sunday morning with the odd Sunday afternoon. On a typical Sunday match day there will be over 250 players, coaches, parents etc at Wyeside.
The official rugby season is the start of September through to early May of the next year
