*THIS WEEKS HOME FIXTURE HAS BEEN REVERSED TO BE PLAYED AT LICHFIELD*
Following on from the continued disruption that Mother Nature has caused our Mini and Junior section she has turned her attention to the Seniors and forced us to make an early decision about the weekends already re-scheduled fixture.
With the pitches enduring a number of weeks of standing water with no time to drain and dry out and the forecast of rain for at least the next week we have reversed this week’s home fixture to now be played AWAY at Lichfield.
We thank Lichfield for enabling the fixture to go ahead and not force another break in the fixture calendar.
The Coach will leave from the old Art College Car Park at 11.00 am. For those travelling supporters who would like a place on the bus, please contact Mr Rob Davies on bigdavy35@gmail.com for availability.
On Saturday our defensive wall held strong and was not breached by the opposition. The boys will be looking to capitalise on this again this weekend. However, Lichfield will want to continue with their winning ways having been unbeaten in their last 3 games.
Lichfield sit just 5 points above us in the league table. However, they have played one more game in the calendar. We will of course keep you updated on our social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
We hope to resume normal service back at Wyeside as soon as we can. However, we need to wait for the water to completely drain away and unfortunately this is out of our control.
